GB Medical as experienced family physicians are committed to providing a professional, comprehensive and holistic service to the patient, from birth to the very old. This entails a focus on preventative medicine as well as excellent chronic care. Our practice is following current best practices and guidelines, in order to ensure the best outcomes for the patient.

Our patients are our main priority and over the years we have built up an exceptional relationship of trust with them. This is directly due the expertise and care that we provide to them. Our services range from minor procedures, medical emergencies, chronic care, pain management and palliative care.

Should you need your yearly examination or any vaccinations we are available to assist.

The practice has been in business for 23 years in Gordon’s Bay. It was proudly started by Dr Frans Heunis, who retired in 2013. The medical practice was taken over by Dr Chris Jooste, with Dr Eon Truter and Dr Eliam Havenga later joining him. There are currently three office ladies. Our receptionist Sanette, Surgical assistant and reception Anne-Mari and our account manager, Corrie. These three ladies are an integral part of our team.

Please note that we are closed on Sundays and also on public holidays. We are open and available though Monday through Fridays from 8am till 5pm and then on Saturdays we are open from 9am till 12noon each week.
