@Plaas Kombuis – Local Farm Goodness in Gordon’s Bay

What started from the back of a bakkie on the Gordon’s Bay beachfront has grown into a charming local shop in filled with farm-fresh produce, homemade treats and proudly Western Cape flavours.

Trevor began trading along the beachfront two years ago, braving the Gordon’s Bay wind, sunshine and occasional rain. Before long, the idea of finding a permanent home for the business was born – and @Plaas Kombuis came to life.

Today, the shop offers a wonderful selection of locally sourced and homemade products, including jams, relishes, chutneys, free-range eggs, nuts, dried fruit, biscuits and homemade rusks, lovingly baked by Marja herself.

Honey lovers are in for a treat! @Plaas Kombuis stocks a beautiful range of pure raw honey from Stanford, with varieties including fynbos, eucalyptus, blueberry and orange blossom. Many of the products on the shelves are sourced directly from farms across the Western Cape, making this a great little stop for visitors wanting to take home a taste of the region.

You’ll also find Green Tea Kombucha in flavours such as apple, orange and mango, as well as Moringa products.
